`Select an ET-5RS-1-E1 when... …...you need very fast, fault-tolerant network redundancy and prioritized message delivery in your critical real-time systems. The 1 at the end of the part number indicates that ports 4 and 5 are pre-configured as ring 1, which allows for easy plug and play operation. Other pre-configuration options and long haul fiber transceivers are available as special order. You can also use the supplied Switch Wizard utility to configure advanced functionality such as individual port settings, priority queuing, broadcast limiting, port mirroring, Modbus monitoring and more.
