currently installed in over 150 major cities throughout the US and Europe
as an important deterrent tool for terrorism, vandalism, illegal dumping,
graffiti, and general bad behavior.
The camera senses motion and snaps
multiple pictures of whomever set off the motion detector while loudly

NETWORKABLE
AND WIRELESS VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SOLUTIONS
Volpe Industries
Volpe Industries provides the Eagle
Eye networkable video surveillance camera solutions. The unique solutions
that Volpe provides compared to other camera solutions are threefold:
- The provision of an Eagle
Eye OPC server gives us the ability to tie the system in to common SCADA
(Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) systems like Iconics, RSView,
Wonderware, or Intellution. This not only reduces the requirement for
additional monitors or TV screens in the control room but also allows us
to use the existing power of the SCADA system – graphics and alarming for
example. This would allow the system to tie in to the SCADA alarming
features, as well as providing just one system for the control
operators to view.
- The ability to use wireless
technology to both send the video signals as well as view the video
signals remotely (at a Pocket PC, for instance).
- The ability to provide
unique software features, like specific areas of interest which can cause
alarm triggers, soft-motion sensing on each of the cameras, and a
scheduler to determine when and where cameras should scan and
alarm. |
