RED LION 3G CELLULAR MODEM SOFTWARE CUSTOMIZED FOR NETWORK UPGRADE
A large gas company approached Neal Systems with a problem that their cellular modem of choice, the Sierra Wireless Raven series, was built for 2G speeds and AT&T had announced that the 2G network was soon to be phased out. Neal Systems was able to work with Red Lion’s cellular team to design a custom software for one of Red Lion’s 3G cellular modems that would essentially create a “plug and play” solution for complete compatibility with their existing proprietary PLC application. As a result, Neal Systems displaced the part number Raven XT G2263-CD series, which the customer had standardized on throughout their fleet.
CUSTOMIZED SAMPLING SYSTEM USING DRAEGER DETECTORS ENHANCES MEASUREMENT OF HAZARDOUS GAS LEL
Neal Systems was central to the development of a custom sampling system to measure hazardous gas LEL using Draeger’s Polytron 8700 IR LEL detector. Neal Systems worked closely with the customer to define requirements and then conducted detailed coordination with Draeger to ensure the correct panels were constructed to meet these requirements. The result for the customer was accurate and clean measurement of LEL gas for enhanced safety plus easier calibration.
OXYGEN AND HYDROCARBON GAS MONITORINGS SYSTEM WITH DRAEGER SENSORS ENHANCES SAFETY AND EFFICIENCY
Neal Systems was selected by a major manufactured gases company in New York State to provide an O2 and LEL monitoring system, which includes control logic and warning lights / horns. Neal Systems provided consultation services to determine optimal detection points for quick safety response levels. Neal Systems used the Draeger oxygen LS sensors, which average 3+ years of extreme stability and minimal effects from pressure, temperature, or humidity changes.
DRAEGER SOLVES NF3, F2, AND HCI DETECTION PROBLEMS USING DRAEGER SENSORS
Neal Systems was selected by a major New Jersey manufacturer of semiconductor gases such as nitrogen trifluoride (NF3), fluorine (F2), and hydrogen chloride (HCl). A previously installed competing system had not been able to adequately detect or alarm gas leaks for the gases in question, and the customer chose Draeger as the premier detection solution for these gases. Neal Systems provided consultation services to determine optimal detection points for quick safety response levels throughout the laboratory area. The Draeger sensors for NF3 and F2 have been extensively tested by Draeger scientists in Germany to maximize response times and to minimize cross interference from other gases.
DRAEGER LEAK MEASUREMENT SYSTEM PROVIDED FOR AMMONIA, HYDROCHLORIC ACID, AND SILANE
Neal Systems provided Draeger gas leak measurement of ammonia, hydrochloric acid, and silane for a New Jersey-based manufactured gas company.
SAMSON VALVE SOLUTION DEPLOYED
Neal Systems and SAMSON USA supplied a major control valve solution to a New Jersey-based chemical plant that was starting up a new section of their plant. The reliability and easy maintainability of SAMSON valves were major selling points for this project.
MTL SYSTEM SOLVES DIFFICULT HAZARDOUS AREA APPLICATION
Neal Systems provided an MTL-GECMA hazardous area PC to one of the largest refineries in New Jersey for a difficult hazardous area application. The reliability and compact-size of this PC made it an effective and efficient solution for this customer.
DRAEGER FLAME DETECTION FOR NEW TANK FARM
Neal Systems installed and commissioned a Draeger flame detection system for a new tank farm at a Pennsylvania-based manufactured gas company. The flame detection system used UV/IR detectors.
SCADA SOLUTION FIELDED
Neal Systems provided an extensive Allen Bradley PLC SCADA solution for a chemical company supplying chemicals for cleaning and painting lines at a rolled metal manufacturer in Ohio. Our personnel were able to flexibly adapt to evolving requirements to meet the end user’s need. Neal Systems continues to provide remote support to the customer.
SIXNET CELLULAR SOLUTIONS SUPPORT NATIONWIDE MONITORING
Neal Systems was awarded the contract for supplying Sixnet wireless cellular modem solutions nationwide for a New Jersey-based manufactured gas supplier wishing to remotely monitor their processes.
FULL LIFE SAFETY SYSTEM DEPLOYED AT GAS MANUFACTURING FACILITY
Neal Systems helps Lehigh Valley industrial gas company with a full life safety system, including gas leak detectors, flame detectors, heat detectors, and smoke detectors tied together by central fire and gas safety control panels.
DATA MANAGEMENT SOLUTION WITH CHESSELL RECORDERS RESULTS IN SAVINGS
Neal Systems assists a customer with remotely monitoring, processing and tracking data, as well as convert from a paper to a paperless system. Their Chessell recorders now monitor dye temperature in manufacturing. The customer produces dyes for paint, so this application will help reduce crucial downtime in the recording system.
