876EC Loop-Powered Transmitter
The Foxboro 876EC is a two-wire loop‑powered, intelligent transmitter engineered for electrodeless conductivity (also known as inductive or toroidal conductivity) and concentration measurements. Paired with sensors such as the 871EC, 871FT, EP307, EP402, or FT10 series, it offers precise, flexible performance across a broad range of process liquids, from ultrapure water to high-concentration acids, bases, or salts. Designed for simplicity and adaptability, this transmitter allows storage of up to three application profiles complete with display formats, temperature compensation, chemical calibration curves, and output assignments. Users can auto-switch between applications based on configurable thresholds, saving both time and calibration errors. Compact and rugged, the 876EC comes in a NEMA 4X / IP66 field-mount housing, certified for hazardous areas (FM Zone 0/2, ATEX, CSA, IECEx), and supports 4‑20 mA analog output plus HART digital communication, simplifying integration with modern asset management systems.
