Service Coordinator Job Description

Overview

A service coordinator is an integral part of our field service organization.  They are responsible for interfacing with customers and ensuring their needs are met. The service coordinator will manage a staff of service technician’s schedules, resolve client issues, and customer complaints.  All while ensuring that the company’s positive image and reputation remains intact.

Education and Experience

Ideal candidate will hold Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree. Previous work experience in customer service-related position is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the schedules for a team of service technicians.
  • Act as liaison between clients and company.
  • Be the primary point of contact for handling emergency service calls and scheduled service calls.
  • Be the primary point of contact for coordinating all repair work coming into our facility.
  • Own all aspects of the service purchase orders from start to finish. Be responsible for quoting, order entry, scheduling, and invoicing this work.

Project Engineer

Location: Newtown, PA 

Job Description

  • RS Logix, FactoryTalk, Ignition, GeoSCADA, Unity Pro, RemoteConnect experience is required.
  • Some experience of industrial networking and cyber security is preferred.
  • AMS2750 experience is preferred.
  • Gas detection and instrumentation experience would be a benefit.
  • Work as a PLC programmer project lead or as a team member on larger projects and be able to work without significant direction to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven soft skills with high EQ required in order to deal effectively with team-mates and customers.
  • Review quotes and POs to gain an understanding of the project in order to “Green Light” the order processing.
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings with territory managers to ensure a proper project handoff from sales.
  • Determine the resources required for each project either from internal or external sources, schedule and brief them as required.
  • Report the status of projects through weekly meetings, design reviews, testing reviews, and project closeout.
  • Reinforce the use of the project flow chart to guide projects to completion.
  • Work directly with customers to determine requirements, keep them appraised and deal with discrepancies as and when they occur.

TERRITORY SALES MANAGER: VIRGINIA

This sales position will be specifically responsible for managing and growing 100+ customer relationships within the Virginia territory. Product lines include instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, temperature, vibration, etc), controllers / control systems, data acquisition / RTUs / SCADA, industrial networking (wireless, cyber), hazardous area electrical protection, and hardware for tanks (storage and process). 

Overview:

  • Responsible for driving sales growth and managing the technical aspect of our Metro DC / Virginia territory
  • Work directly with hundreds of customers to provide products and solutions ranging from instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, vibration, temperature) to RTUs to PID controllers to data acquisition to SCADA to wireless solutions 

Preferred Experience:

  • The ideal candidate would have proven experience with growing a sales territory within the industrial process / automation industry, as well as either (a) having a technical degree (ideally engineering, such as electrical, mechanical, or chemical) or (b) having 5+ years’ experience in the process measurement and control industry 

Skills and Mindset :

  • A passion and enjoyment for solving problems, connecting with hundreds of companies / people, and helping them find optimal solutions using our product lines.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work independently. This position is fast-paced with the urgency, needs, and priorities of our customers changing quickly. The ideal candidate for this position would be organized, positive, and productive in the midst of this demanding pace of work. Receiving 30-50 emails per day is common.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as a comfort with connecting with all types of people for presentation on products and applications.
  • The ability to program, configure, and wire equipment for measurement and control applications and the ability to teach customers how to do the same.
  • The ability to fit well with our small company culture. Our company is a family environment and we all work outside of our job description from time to time in order to help each other and our customers. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION

This sales position will be specifically responsible for helping to grow our influence and sales of all aspects of control and data acquisition products and solutions to our customers in industries like heat treat, pharmaceutical, water / waste, others. Areas of specialty include temperature control, electric heat power control, process data acquisition, SCADA, and cloud-based storage / analytics.

Overview:

  • Responsible for driving sales growth and managing the technical aspects of our controls (PID controllers, electric heat power controllers, PLCs and distributed controllers) and data acquisition (recorders, cloud data, SCADA, RTUs) throughout our overall territory (roughly NYC to Philadelphia to Richmond, VA to Pittsburgh, PA to Buffalo, NY)
  • Work within various industries, include mainly heat treat, metals, pharmaceutical, power, water / waste, oil/gas, industrial gas, chemical, and food/beverage.
  • Main interface with hundreds of customers to include writing business plans, developing project quotations, providing lunch and learns, offering technical sales support, training customers, answering technical inquiries from customers, and working with our other key teams (outside sales, marketing, service, engineering, order entry) to handle all aspects of customer business development

Preferred Experience :

This sales position will be specifically responsible for helping to grow our influence and sales of all aspects of gas leak detection, flame detection, and gas / liquid analyzers (Laser, FT-IR, Mass Spec, Gas Chromatograph, Ramen, Thermal Conductivity, and Electrochemical). Major industrial focus include oil/gas, industrial gas, pharmaceutical / biotech, heat treat, chemical, power, food/beverage, and gas pipeline.

Overview:

  • Responsible for driving sales growth and managing the technical aspects of gas / liquid business (including gas leak detection, flame detection, gas analyzers, liquid analyzers) throughout our overall territory (including mainly the NYC to Philadelphia to Baltimore to DC region)
  • Work within various industries, include mainly pharmaceutical, power, water / waste, oil/gas, industrial gas, chemical, food/beverage, and heat treat.
  • Main interface with hundreds of customers to include writing business plans, developing project quotations, providing lunch and learns, offering technical sales support, training customers, answering technical inquiries from customers, and working with our other key teams (outside sales, marketing, service, engineering, order entry) to handle all aspects of customer business development

Preferred Experience :

  • The ideal candidate would have proven experience with growing a sales territory that included gas leak detection, flame detection, and gas / liquid analyzers.
  • Also ideally would have either (a) a technical degree (ideally engineering, such as electrical, mechanical, or chemical) or (b) having 5+ years’ experience in the process measurement and control industry with specific time spent with detectors / analyzers.
