The Foxboro IGP10S is a next-generation intelligent gauge pressure transmitter designed to meet the most demanding industrial pressure measurement requirements. Part of the well-established Foxboro I/A Series® family, the IGP10S combines robust mechanical design, advanced sensor technology, and intelligent digital features to deliver precise and reliable gauge pressure measurement across a wide range of applications. At the heart of the IGP10S is Foxboro’s patented FoxCal™ multi-calibration technology, which allows the transmitter to store multiple factory-calibrated curves internally. This means a single IGP10S device can cover an exceptionally wide turndown ratio of up to 400:1, enabling it to accurately measure pressures ranging from very low values to high pressures without sacrificing accuracy or requiring multiple transmitter versions. This flexibility reduces spare parts inventory and simplifies procurement. The transmitter offers high measurement accuracy of ±0.05% of reading, which outperforms many competitive models, especially at low pressure levels. This accuracy is maintained over the entire configured span, ensuring stable and repeatable process readings essential for tight process control. The IGP10S supports the widely adopted HART® digital communication protocol, enabling remote configuration, calibration, and health monitoring directly from control rooms or handheld communicators. This feature simplifies commissioning, reduces maintenance visits, and allows operators to proactively identify potential device issues before they impact the process.
